Step 1 - Go to the Event Website
Below is an example of what an event Website homepage can look like. Click on the “Register” top menu item or button to go the “Registration” page as shown below.
Step 2 - Registration page (w/o Shopping cart)
The registration page shows the list of tickets available to the public for this event. If you have received a Promo Code from the organizer, enter it where it says Promo Code and click on . Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Click the button to initiate the checkout. You will then be directed to the “Identification” page.
Step 2 - Registration page (w/ Shopping cart)
The registration page (w/ Shopping cart) shows the list of tickets available to the public for this event. If you have received a Promo Code from the organizer, enter it where it says Promo Code and click on . Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase and click the button to add the tickets to your cart. Once the tickets are in your cart, you can click the yellow button or the “Cart” top menu item to begin the checkout process.
Step 3 - Identification page
Select how you would like to log in. You can speed up your checkout process by continuing with an existing account. Depending on how the event planner has configured the registration process, you may have the option to log in using social media, email, or to log in as a guest. It will likely differ from event to event.
Step 4 - Registration Summary
At this point, you will have a time limit within which you must complete the registration. You must fill out the required information. Note that it is possible to buy tickets for yourself or someone else. When ready, click on or depending on the option available.
Step 5 - Payment (optional)
Depending on the payment method selected by the event organizer, a page will appear for you to enter your payment information.
Step 6 - Registration Confirmation
Once a successful registration is completed, the screen below will appear.
A confirmation message is displayed as well as being emailed to the ticket purchaser. If you have registered other persons, each of them will receive an email with the tickets attached.
If the ticket(s) are available for download, you will have a button available.
