When you need to export your list of attendees, speakers, staff or other event-related people to an Excel file, you can do so from the screen.
Steps to export to a list of people
- Go to the screen.
- Select the columns that you wish to see, and remove the columns that you don’t want, by clicking on the button. All visible columns will be exported, and unselected (non-visible) columns will not be exported.
- Filter the table to show only those rows that you want to export if required. For example, if you only wanted to export registered guests, you could filter the table by selecting Yes in the Registered column. This would only show registered people. If you only wanted to export people from IBM Corporation, you could enter IBM in the Organization filter area, and this would only show people from IBM, etc. You can use multiple filters at the same time if necessary.
- Select an appropriate number of rows to show at the bottom right of the table, in the rows per page selector. If you want to export a large list, you might want to select 1000 rows per page for example.
- Once you are happy with your selection, click on the button at the top right of the table. This will save an Excel sheet with exactly the row and column selection that you are viewing on screen.
Exported file format
Exported lists of people are saved in a standard Excel file (
.xlsx file format). All data is exported to regular text fields, except for photos (such as people bio photos/headshots), which are exported as a full URL as in this example:
