We will show you how you can add images on your Grenadine Event Website. Images can be displayed on the homepage and/or on custom pages.

Introduction

Adding images is a three step process:

  • Upload the image in the “Documents” page
  • Get the URL of the image
  • Insert the image in the home page and/or custom page

Upload the image

To upload an image, go to Grenadine Event Manager -> Your event -> Documents page and click on the .

Get the URL of the image

Now that the image has been uploaded in the Grenadine files repository. You need to ge the URL of the image:

  • Open the Grenadine Event Manager -> Your event -> Documents page
  • Pass your mouse over the image in the list of documents, you will see icons appear at the right of the name of the image.
  • Click on the “paper plane”, shown highlighted above. You will be prompted to create a new email address.

  • At the bottom of the email, there is an URL (shown below). This URL is the public URL of your email. Just copy or write down this information for later use.

Insert the image on the Homepage

If you want to include the image on the event Website Homepage you need to:

  • Navigate to: Grenadine Event Manager -> Your event -> Event -> Event Information and click on the button, shown highlighted above.

  • Go to the Event Description field.
  • In the text editor, click on the image icon in the text editor.

  1. In the URL field enter the URL found previously.
  2. In the Description field, put any information you would like to add to describe the image. It helps the search engine to index your info.

Insert the image on a Custom Page

If you want to include the image on a Custom Page follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to Grenadine Event Manager -> Your event -> Website -> Custom Pages and edit a page by clicking the page you wish to edit or create on by selecting the highlighted above (more information about Custom Pages can be found here Create custom page.

  • Go to the Text field.
  • In the text editor, click on the image icon in the text editor (shown highlighted below).

  1. In the URL field enter the URL found previously.
  2. In the Description field, put any information you would like to add to describe the image. It helps the search engine to index your info.

You can now go to the event website of the mobile app of your event and see the result!
